OOTDPILIPINAS Bad Service

Ootdpilipinas is an online shop in instagram. They sell made to order clothes. If you look into their account you could see that what they're selling are good -good in pictures.

I ordered their Megan Midriff and Midi Skirt. I wanted to put the picture they used as an inspiration, and the reason why I ordered in the first place, but I couldn't find any of it in their account. The owner must have deleted it when I complained to them. The picture is originally from the fashion blogger Kryz Uy. She wears it in one of her fashion posts. It's a colored yellow midi skirt that has a balloon style.

I asked to the owner over and over again that if they made the skirt will it really look like that. I even sent the picture multiple times. I wanted it kind of balloon style. I don't know what's the problem with her but she does not respond to my questions. Since I'm running out of time, because I'm planning on using it for a special occassion, I just ordered and have faith in their claims of good quality. To top it all she responds so slow. I think it takes me 3 days just to place an order.

When I asked when I will be getting my order she said that it will be a week after the ocassion. So I paid a rush order fee. Then the waiting. I was shocked when I learned that she didn't delivered what I ordered on time. I wasn't able to use the outfit on time. She added one dress on my package to compensate for what happened. Ok, I appreciate it. Then when I checked the skirt it's very different to what I was expecting. It's a midi skirt, alright, but it's not a balloon style. It's one of the midi skirts that they are selling. The one that just falls down up to your knee. When I looked closer to the 'tela' that they used it has holes on it, the one you usually see at the end of 'telas'. Seriously? Do you really need to use the 'tela' up to that part? I tell her over and over again that I want that kind of skirt. I asked over and over again if that's really how it would look like. If she only has the balls to say no then I wouldn't troubled myself in to ordering. "Pera pera na lang kasi lagi eh. Kapag nagtanong yung customer kahit mali na yung claim kung ano ano na lang ang sasabihin para lang makabenta. Sobrang panget ng service niyo. Huwag mong sabihin na dahil maraming umoorder sa iyo. Nagtayo ka ng business na yan dapat alam mo kung ano ang mga consequences. Isara mo na yang business mo dahil nakakaperwisyo ka lang." I paid for something that wasn't really worth it. It cost me almost 1000 but the quality of work, OH MY GOSH. I really just wasted my money. I can't evenuse it because it looks like lesser than DIVISORIA clothing.

Then I saw her instagram account. How she lavishly spend the money she earned by selling her clothes. Wow. YOU DO NOT DESERVE IT.

NO HATH FURY LIKE A LADY SCORNED OVER HER CLOTHES AND WASTED MONEY.

Review: Eraser Soap

Note: First of all, I would like to thank all of you who read my blog. My page views are in good numbers, and I was just only starting. I promise to make more honest and unbiased critiques. You might have noticed that I haven't had any positive reviews yet in comparison to the seller's reviews. What I wrote here on my blog are only based on my experience. The effectivity of the product still depends on the user's skin.

Good day, mortals! I'm back with yet another review. It's 'ber months already, and it means only one thing, Christmas! Hehe. I have only one wish this Christmas. If my wish do come true, this year will be my happiest Christmas. :3

Anyway, wouldn't life be easier if before we bought a product that we want we would have found an honest review? It might minimize our cost of effort and most especially money. Sad to say that's not how life is.
"It's like the magic soap that can erase any unsatisfied area on your skin. Wow!!! Don't miss this item!!! Why??? All of your dark spots will be erased within one piece. Stretch marks, acne, bottom, groin, and armpit area will be brighten and smoothen effectively."

If you scan the paragraph, before this paragraph, then you probably have bought an Eraser Soap. Enticing words, aren't they?  Every seller used that advertisement for their eraser soap. That's why advertising is called "legalized lying". I bought this soap not because I believe every word of it, but if it claims something like that then it must have been good.

Sad to say yet another disappointing product. It even costs too much. 320php to be exact. I've used all the soap, but I didn't notice any effect on my body. It didn't "erase" my stretch marks. Though my bottom, groin and armpit area are not that dark, I didn't notice any difference. It didn't even lighten my skin.

You know if a product is good you could see the effect with just 1-2 uses. Seriously. I've only tried two products like that and they are amazing.

Review: Tofu Soap, Snail Soap and Tofu Pore Scrub

It's been a while. I've been very busy these days because there's something big that's going to happen in my life. I need to prepare myself. The outcome of it will be the defining of my future. Cross fingers for me :)

Probably it's not new to all of you, especially those who are active in Instagram, that lately there are ravings about the effectiveness of Thailand products. Sometimes I came across a review about a Thailand product in IG and I can't believe what I'm reading. They're all like the product made all their problems go away.

I bought the tofu soup, tofu pore scrub and snail soap in an online shop in IG (I've become addicted into buying things online, hihi). The name of the account is sofiasfabitems. I recommend her shop because she's really a nice seller. She entertains questions, unlike others who are... nevermind. I think you know what they are.

I first used the tofu soap. I saw a lot of good reviews about it, but, I don't know, I think the product wasn't just for me. The very first night I used it, I developed a pimple on my chin the very next day so I stop using it. I tried in on my body, but I also develop some pimples on my arms. I never had any pimples on my body. I just bought this soap because of a break out on my face when I needed to put a lot of make up for my graduation picture (I don't have many pimples before, in fact I don't have a trace of pimple on my face before the pictorial). I'm totally a walking allergic person. I even have allergies on makeup. I threw the soap. Peace!

Tofu pore scrub and snail soap. I used them as a combination. First the pore scrub, then the snail soap. I would say they are a perfect combination. I didn't develop any new pimples while using it. I used the snail soap on my body too, but it wasn't a very good idea. I got chicken skin when I used it. I think it's for the face only. The downside of this product is that the pimple marks from my last break out are still there. Those marks are what I really wanted to get rid of. These two might have faded the marks, but gradually.  So I'm kind of not impressed.

Verdict.
Tofu Soap: A big no no for me.
Tofu Pore Scrub: 3/5
Snail Soap: 3/5

My Lightning Tattoos

I always refer my stretch marks as my lightning tattoos. I got the terminology from tumblr. When the time comes that I'm out of my options,  at least I could refer them as a cool thing to have.

Getting stretch marks is easier than getting rid of them. I have them on my butt and behind my legs.

I got my stretch marks behind my legs when I was 16. Actually it's my mom who pointed it out to me. At first, I thought that in time it will just fade away. 4 years have passed and I still have them. Thinking back I realized that I got them from scratching.

I also started to shave back then. Due to my skin disease when I was a kid I need to use lotion everyday. I read somewhere that using lotions can thicken the hair on your legs or arms. So after shaving I always felt that the back of my legs itches. Stupid as I am I scratch them. That's why I got my stretch marks.

My stretch marks on my butt are also due to my scratching. My mom told me not to scratch if I have my menstruation. So I scratch them when I don't have menstruation. I still end up having them, though.

When it started to be a pain in the ass I look for ways of getting rid of them. Some web told me that we can't really get rid of them. We can only lighten them so as to be the same as the color of our skin. I even asked in Belo and they told me the same. I'm not giving up, though. I still need to try.

So far I've only tried the Rose Hip Oil, the one that's been endorsed on tv, and the peeling oils that I reviewed in my last post.

Rose Hip Oil had been just a waste of money. I'm telling you guys don't buy it. After using two bottles, there's nothing, even if a little bit, change. Their tv endorsement was so outrageous. Totally not true.

Review: Green Peeling Oil and Yellow Peeling Oil

Note: This is quite a long review, but I assure you that what's stated here is nothing but the whole truth.

My reason for buying these products are because of my stretch marks. They can be seen behind my legs and on my butt.

I bought the Green Peeling Oil last December 2013 in an online shop in Instagram named flawlesspapaya. It comes with a set that includes 1 stretch mark cream, 1 hydrocortisone cream, 1 15ml green peeling oil and 1 bleaching soap. I also bought sutla face and body bleaching cream and 4 flawless papaya soap. All in all it costs me around 850php.

This is the green peeling oil. I threw the others away because I already emptied them. I've no idea back then that I would make a review. I wouldn't throw it away if I'd known.

Sutla Face and Body Bleaching Cream and Flawless Papaya Soap

Here's the instruction that comes with the set.

I did all of that was written in the instructions. Applying the green peeling oil was easy. I applied it on my stretch marks behind my legs. Irritation starts when the skin started to peel off. It feels very itchy. It says in the instructions that when itchiness or redness occur apply the hydrocortisone cream. I did it, but it still feels very itchy. I tried to rub it, not scratch, just to soothe the itchiness. As soon as the process of peeling nears to it's end, I noticed that my skin developed dark spots. This might have been my fault because I foresee the instruction of do not rub. What I couldn't accept is my skin was burnt.

Remember that I also bought a bleaching cream and papaya soap from the shop? I asked the seller if it's ok to use them simultaneously. She said it's fine. So while my skin was peeling I used the cream and soap. The cream was fine, but the soap, burned my skin. I've no idea that you shouldn't use harsh soaps while peeling because it will burn your skin. Damn you seller!

The cream and the soap didn't even live up to its expectations. I didn't notice any whitening of my skin. It's like I didn't even use the product at all. Well, except for burning my skin.

So after using the product I was left with dark spots and darkened skin due to using the soap. My stretch marks are still there too, like nothing happened.

Three months after,  I used the green peeling oil again. My skin was still discolored and I don't know what to do. I thought that if I peel it off again, my skin will go back to its normal color. This time the process had gone smoothly. I used the hydrocortisone cream on the 2nd day after applying the green peeling oil. I should have done this the first time so as to avoid what happened, but I was mislead by the instructions.

As a result, my burnt skin lightened from dark brown to light brown, but still a little bit discolored. I still have stretch marks too.

I bought the Yellow Peeling Oil just recently (May 2014). Again, in an online shop in Instagram named skin_indulgence. I also bought their stretch marks set. It costs me 1500.

You might be wondering why I bought them since I had a bad experience the last time. When I saw their IG account it was full of great reviews and promises. Also, YPO is different from GPO. I am desperate and stubborn. I want the dark spots gone. I want my stretch marks gone. I want my skin to go back to normal.

I am very stupid to think that since it's my third time of using this kind of product there will be no problem. Boy, how wrong I am.

These are two different sets. The first set includes the bigger yellow peeling oil and 1 hydrocort cream. Then the stretch marks set includes 1 whitening soap, 1 small peeling oil, 1 hydrocort cream, 1 bleaching solution and 1 retinoic acid cream 1%.

Instructions.

I used the bigger yellow peeling oil from my butt down to my feet. I also included my groins.

The process is almost the same. I was just waiting for my skin to peel off when I remember that I forgot to apply the hydrocort cream on the 2nd day. Curse the instructions for not stating it there. Curse me too for not knowing better.

I feel very irritated when my skin started to peel. I can't even sleep at night. My butt was very itchy, my groin feels like on flame and I could really feel how raw my skin was. I did my best not to scratch or rub it, and I succeeded. I didn't even use harsh soaps. I don't know why, but the red spots suddenly just appear. On my butt, thighs and behind my legs. Behind my legs are the worst part. They do not itch so I thought they'll just fade away.

When everything's peeled off the red spots did not vanish. Instead they turned into dark spots. Now I have a lot of dark spots more than before. I stopped using the product right there and then. I don't want to risk it anymore. I think I'm allergic to the product. Too much chemical.

Instead of getting rid of my stretch marks and dark spots my skin got a lot worse. I still have dark spots, more than what I asked for, and I still have my stretch marks. In short, it didn't work.

I would definitely not going to buy any peeling product anymore. I had enough that will last me for a lifetime.
